News posts, 2013 to 2016

The ten surviving posts from the previous site's news section.

Behind a multi-day event, organisers can also compare operational tools for weekly timesheet template.

The previous site had a news section that ran from 2013 to 2016. Ten posts survive, and they are collected here rather than kept as separate pages.

Why they are together

Because most of them existed at two addresses at once. The site had been rebuilt at some point and the older paths were never retired, so the same short notice sat under two different URLs with two different listing pages above it. Splitting them back out would preserve a duplication rather than a record.

What they covered

Musical line-ups for particular years, including the announcement of a returning comedian and of a local band playing the Friday. Festival dates for 2015. Thanks to that year's sponsors. A notice of what was new in a given edition.

Two of them were not notices at all but short pieces on the subject: one on pairing pointers and one on tasting chocolate slowly and paying attention while doing it. The journal on this site is the descendant of those two.

What is not here

The category and archive listing pages that sat above these posts are not reproduced, because they listed the same ten items in different orders. The addresses they used redirect here.

Every ticket, every table, every hour given.

The festival exists to raise money for older people in New Hanover County: transport to medical appointments, meals delivered at home, respite for family carers, and the foster grandparent programme. That is what the wine and the chocolate are for.
